Where has time gone? I have several things to show you, but, I have to take pictures first. I will try and do that quickly. I have enjoyed learning from Teresa Collins, Heidi Swapp, the 7 Gypsy girls, Sheri Mendoza, Tammy Tutterow, Suzy West, and more. Our local scrapbook stores have closed. My absolute favorite one that I was always at on friday Nites closed I still haven't gotten over that. We had the most fun and best classes ever there.
My family has kept me busy with softball, bowling for 2 of our boys and little league for our youngest grandson. We've had 3 new great grandkids in the last 6 mths.....2 boys and 1 girl!  Alot of my family has moved out of state, so I'm always missing them but, get to keep up with them on facebook.

Our grandson Trevors band has cut their first LP, his band is called Captives they are now with Ronald Records and are offering his album on cassette for a limited time. We got to spend almost a month in Aug. last year with them in Utah. So my family has kept me busy , which I love but, I have done alot of projects I just haven't photographed them....lol

Enough rambling I will try and get it together to photograph my projects and get them posted on here....

I love these old fahioned rubber stamps, I believe they're by Hero Arts

This was strictly a test for me moving color around, I have a few more things I'd like to try with it, but, its the original run.

This was done on black cardstock and black embossing verry sleek looking

I included 3 diferent light sources to show you how they have such different but , bold looks depending on how the light hits it.

Tim Holtz Technique

A Tim Holtz type of tag
Used Versamark, Perfect Pearls, stamp of choice.

Birthday Card

I used Tuesday Technique stamp set of the little monsters, I colored them in with my copic markers and their Atyou Spica glitter pens, I embossed 2 pieces of cardstock with Tim holtz embossing folder with my Cuttlebug, on the front of the card I used Martha Stewarts Drippy Goo punch ( i love this punch it can aso be paint dripping or cake frosting) , I used a green mesh ribbon from SkyBuePink, some really fine glitter on the inside of the card. I drew on small circles to emulate mini brads. A couple of different ribbons and some precut border pieces.

New Birthday Card

I made this card for a friend of mines Birthday....obviously we play Bingo together!

I used a Bingo embossing plate, I think it was Tim Holtz. I colored her in with my ever trusty Copic Markers, adding bits of glitz with my Atyou Spica pens (which I can't get enough of)! On her glasses and the bingo daubs I used glossy accents to make it shinier. I used a martha stewart punch on the purple edge. I had some really nice glitzy glitter like ribbon and a Petaloo flower.
On the inside of the card I used the same glittery ribbon and these really nice dark pink square embellishments (I know I got them at Joann's), I used another martha stewart punch on the edge of the white paper.

This was the envelope my puppies Petey and Buddy wanted to help me color so I had to make it look all right, then when I got to bingo , with my hands full and the card in my hand....the sky's opened up and dumped water bucket by bucket...some guy saw me from inside and ran out to help me....so it didn't run too much!

Now, to find time to do some more when I'm not on a time crunch...lol I hope you all enjoy.

Scrapbook Expo

I'm starting to find my mojo, slow but, sure...spent the day at the Scrapbook Expo , found out about it at the last minute and wrangled my friend to go with me. Bought a lot of stamps...a bunch of Sara Kays, Tina Wenke, foil to emboss with, micro fine glitter that you can actually use your copics over the top of it, it was awesome. I hope to now find time to get some stuff done.

I've had the death of my mom on New Years Day, a friend who passed away from H1N1, 2 of my adopted "boys" have serious health issues, and one of thems 1 1/2 yr old son has had brain surgery twice in less than 2 weeks. So any prayers you can send up will help them all.

I have a head full of ideas , just need to find time to do them :-). And, pray my memory can remember them...lol

So, don't give up on me!! I'm getting ready to get some stuff done. I have the 37 cards that I did with Very limited papers that I took to Slovakia there....disappointment...no scrapbook supplies....so I did them as far as I could, so now on to finish the embellishments! So , hopefully those will get posted soon.

You gotta go look as all her designs, these are irresistable.....good thing its at the end of the month for those on a budget the new month is right around the corner....lol

Bildy Challenge

Here's my blingy card! It has sparkly Petaloo flowers, bright shiny little pink hearts since she had hearts pooled at her feet, I added Glossy Accent to the raindrops, used my Copic pens to color her in, Glaze pens to accent the outline of her dress,Clear Atyou Spica Pen to add bling to her dress. A dash of ribbon at the bottom. Some of the paper is embossed for depth. Hope you enjoy her. The challenge is over here at Bildmalarna Blog

My nieces birthday card

I made this cute little card for my niece who lives in Slovakia, I used my cuttlebug, copic markers, Atyou Spica pens, some ribbon, petaloo sparkly flowers and a strip of green embellishment.

Bildy Challenge

Ok, Sheri and Mindy convinced me to join this challenge over on the Bildy Blog. The challenge was to use one of there cute stamps and the colors pink, chocolate and turquoise.

You can't really see the glittery look in my pictures but, she is a blingy baby I used my Atyou Spica (clear) pen! This stamp is called Tossa's birthday. These stamps are available at www.stampingscrapping.com .

The top picture is a picture of the inside of the card (which is the 2nd pic)

I colored her with my Copics (E01, YR14, E08, Y35, E25, G03, G09, R85, RV23, RV14, Y28, W3) , Atyou spica (clear one), ribbon, prismas, some ribbon and I pop dotted the actual image.

The funny part of this is made 2 cards before I realized I had to use certain colors!!!

Oh well, like the little engine that could I got it done...

for some reason it keeps cutting off the top of my card...

Hi everyone!

I switched computers and its taken me several days to even get into my blog! I hope to update my blog soon and keep it up to date. Life has been a rollercoaster...lol But, with the New Year hopefully I'll find more time to play with my stuff...lol

Soooo don't give up on me, I'll be up to snuff soon!!

Just touching base, I'm still in Slovakia, we are leaving for Poland tomorrow. I have several things colored and ready to go but, I have no paper and there is NOWHERE to buy any !!!!!

I brought my copics some prestamped things to color and very little paper and dbl sided tape. Had I known I would have brought more. I,ve been to Vienna, Poland and Slovakia and no scrapbooking stuff or LSS anywhere!

I'm down to looking at gift wrap and thats pretty measly too. More later

Diane Duda

These are all from Diane Dudas stamps available at Funky kits . I LOVE these stamps! I'm using my nieces boyfriends mac and I have no idea how to crop these or fix the photos.

These are a few of the cards I've made while in Slovakia. Now, mind you I only had access to 6 or 7 papers! And there is NO where to buy any here so, they're alittle simpler then normal but, they were fun to make. I colored them all in with my copics and added alittle sparkle with my Spica pens! I actually colored these on the plane trip and everyone got up to come watch me color...it was really funny. I had just gotten this new set and I couldn't wait to get them inked up, then when I got here I was able to sit down and make cards with them, I can't wait for new ones from Diane Duda.

Slovakia

I'm in Slovakia visiting my niece, I'm hoping to get some cards up soon! The weather here is very hot and humid with thunder and lightening storms now and again. I drove one of their cars from Poland to here in the dark, rain and some patches of fog.

Scrapbook News and Review Bloghop!

I've created my Red, White and Blue card using a Keeto Stamp from Stampin Bella . If your

Her name is Kenya and she has her sparkler all ready to celebrate! I colored her in with my Copic Markers and then highlighted her with Atyou Spica Glitter pens, if you have not tried these they are awesome! I took some ribbon and created a bow and used glue dots to "hold" the ribbon where I wanted it to...sort of like a flag waving in the breeze! I added some red and blue sparklee Petaloo Flowers. I tore my red paper to give it a more casual look.



My technique I would like to share with you is what I've been working on, trying to learn more about my copics. I cut everything out with my cricut on white paper and color in my card! If you look in my May folder look at the Life is a Beach card, I used that technique. I even added real sand to the bottom, topped it with Glossy Accents to look wet! It's quite fun once you try it, it can be quite addictive. Hope you at least give it a try....
